To ensure you get the maximum use out of your wanderlust candle follow these simple rules. Burn your new candle for at least 2 hours the first light, never burn longer than 6 hours at a time. ALWAYS trim the wick of your candle between uses (about a quarter inch above the wax is recommended). This process will ensure that the flame will ignite smoothly and will maintain an even burn.

Dipping the lit wick into the melted wax or by using a snuffer is the fastest and safest method. The lid of the candle can also be used with caution to put out your candle. Wanderlust use quality moulded glass which heavily reduce the chance of breakages when extinguishing the flame.Using the lid will ensure no soot or unpleasent scent from the wick is released into the air.
